I recently designed flyers for Bar Crawl USA’s Beltline Taco & Tequila Crawl event. They were looking for a refreshed, more fun look that better connects with their audience, primarily Black and Latina women ages 25-50. The goal was to create something that stands out and instantly feels like a good time. Whether seen online or out in public, the design needed to grab attention while still feeling welcoming and easy to connect with.

I designed two concepts during the process. While working on the first one, another idea came up, so I had to create both! Typography played a big role in setting the tone. I chose a typeface with personality to match the energetic vibe, then added texture and shadows to give it more depth and make it feel more active.

I also used imagery from their past events, like the taco and tequila visuals, to make the flyer feel more real and give people a glimpse of what to expect. Overall, every design choice was made to balance boldness, clarity, and energy.
